I didn't really feel like explaining myself earlier, but now I do. I guess what I was trying trying to say is not to read too much into what you see/hear. Sometimes it can look like someone has everything perfect, maybe they look like they have the life you want, but well, things are never like they seem. It isn't that they lost of the time are not what they seem, they nnever are. And this is a lesson I learn and think yeah, that is true. Then later find myself thinking well maybe not never, but it is never.
I beg to disagree... Sometimes things are exactly as they seem. And most generally when it appears the least likely that it could be so.
It seems to me that the problem occurs when we imply and read into situations, which is very easy to do. Very hard NOT to do, by extension, but not impossible.
Sometimes, as Jung is reported to have said, a cigar is just a cigar.

ReplyDeleteI totally agree!
ReplyDeleteThey never are but we must keep this thought in the front of our minds or we will forget it in the moments when we need to remember it.
